Civility in political discourse?

To me, Y!A is a bad joke. It's filled with many (not all) who childishly think that they are the smarter, ... the more enlightened, ... and use this forum simply as a nifty tool to bash whichever side of the political aisle they feel is brain dead. It's actually a sad commentary on where American politics have gone, ... i.e. Bush is evil incarnate, O'Bama's insane, McCain is the devil, thoughtless conservatives march in lock step with whatever Rush says, liberals are bleeding heart idiots who worship Al Franken, ... on and on, and on. Thankfully, the vast majority of us don't stake our lives on the rantings of such lunatics. In reality, people are people, ... all with their own opinions on a zillion matters, ... and the dummies who think their rant is going to change that are themselves the fools. There are solutions to our nation's problems, but as long as so many want to divide themselves into these ideological camps, nothing will ever change, and no one wins.
