Indian male married with Indonesian and we having one child . what is the procedure to apply indian citizen?

A valid marriage certificate issued by the Marriage Officer/Registrar either of Indian government i.e. under the Special Marriage Act,1954 or under the Foreign Marriage Act,1969, or of Indonesian Government of same status as Indian counterpart eligible to perform & register any international civil marriage as yours. This Marriage certificate, copy of the Pport of Indian Spouse, Birth certificate of the child issued by the government authorities declaring the Indian man as the father of the child. Take all these doents in the original form & their notary attested copies to the Indian High Commission, file the necessary form for applying for Person of Indian card (PIO card) for both the mother & child, deposit the required fee & get this PIO card for both the persons. The child being born to the Indian father gets Indian citizenship by birth & his pport can also be applied but the Indonesian wife can only apply for Indian citizenship after seven years of her stay in India with her husband as her spouse on the basis of her marriage to Indian citizen as per the Citizenship Act. She can get Indian pport only after her citizenship case is finalized & granted the same, till then she can continue on her PIO card which gives her right to continue to hold this card for 15 years & enjoy all the privileges & benefits granted under this PIO card.
