Microwaving nailpolish remover poisonous?????? need answer fast!?

basically my roomie was cleaning sumthin with nailpolish remover, then after she was done, put them in a mug fillled with water. This pretty much coated the mug with mail polish remover. then she put the mug in the microwave (with water in it). she left and came back and the room smelled disgusting. like chemicals and ****. so now, i cant go to sleep in there because the smell makes me feel gross. how dangerous are these chemicals? are there any chemicals? When can i go back into my room?
