How do I tell my teacher that she is giving out too much homework?

Its Labor Day weekend and because of it, my AP Human Geogrphy teacher has given out loads of homework. I know it an AP freshman cl but is it neccesary to give out tons of homework over a holiday weekend? My parents are going camping and because of homework, I can't go... How do I maturely tell my teacher that she is giving out too much homework at an unreasonable time?
